Energy Master Planning

Gaiergy develops comprehensive energy master plans that map a clear path from existing infrastructure to fully optimized, decarbonized systems. We assess generation, distribution, storage, and load profiles across entire campuses and districts to produce phased implementation roadmaps with measurable milestones.

  • Campus & district-wide energy baseline assessments
  • Multi-technology integration roadmaps (geothermal, solar, storage, grid)
  • Phased decarbonization planning with capital sequencing
  • Utility infrastructure & transmission capacity analysis
  • Stakeholder alignment & regulatory pathway development
  • Long-range resilience & sustainability benchmarking
Track record: Energy master plans delivered for municipal, institutional, and federal clients — integrating geothermal, solar, and storage into unified infrastructure strategies spanning 20+ year horizons.

02

Technoeconomic Analysis

Every Gaiergy engagement starts with rigorous technoeconomic modeling. We integrate technical system design with financial structuring to ensure projects achieve unlevered yields above 10%.

  • IRR, NPV & multi-scenario cash flow modeling
  • Finance structuring & energy contract design (ESPC, UESC, PPA)
  • Cost accounting & lifecycle economic analysis
  • Incentive stacking optimization (ITC, state programs, C-PACE)
  • Technical system sizing informed by financial targets
  • Energy masterplanning with integrated financial modeling
Track record: 45 renewable energy contracts across 4 federal agencies totaling $104M+. $622M in DOE EERE project funding. Work featured by both the VA and DOE as examples of successful energy contracting.

Two Electricity-Demand Panics, Twenty-Five Years Apart

In 1999 the forecasts said the Internet would consume half the grid. It did not. Today the same certainty attaches to artificial intelligence and data centers. This position paper compares the two episodes and argues that today's capital is modelled on training economics while the durable economics live in inference.

About Gaiergy

We make the Energy Transition more than just possible; we make it actionable.

Built to Deliver, Not Just Advise

Gaiergy Corp was founded in 2008 as a veteran-owned small business with a conviction that the energy transition needs people who have actually built things — not just modeled them. Our team was assembled from careers in federal energy contracting, world-class architecture, global manufacturing, petroleum operations, thermal engineering, and construction finance.

That range is deliberate. The energy transition doesn't live in a single discipline. It requires professionals who understand how concept becomes design, how design becomes finance, and how finance becomes a building that operates for decades. We've done each of those steps — across every sector of the economy.

Today, we work with municipalities, federal agencies, states, utilities, industries, hospitals, developers and institutions who need more than just a report. They need a team that can take a project from idea through implementation — and who understands that a solution only works if it makes financial sense for the client over the long term.

What Sets Us Apart

Gaiergy delivers the solutions that implement our energy transition. We've actually built it — on job sites, in federal facilities, across oceans, and through billion-dollar infrastructure programs.

Operators, Not Just Advisors

Most advisory teams are built from analysts and economists who model energy systems. Gaiergy is composed from people who have actually conceived, financed, constructed, operated, and championed projects in the built environment. We don't develop reports to just sit on tables. We facilitate their implementation into the real world.

Deliberately Multidisciplinary

Our world is becoming increasingly interconnected. Gaiergy's experienced team brings a multi-disciplinary approach because they have real world experience across different industries. We bring that experience to task to solve energy transition problems from our client's perspective, because we've been there.

From Concept Through Construction

From concept to design through finance, permitting, governance, construction, and operation. We can help you from the beginning through to the end, or enter in at any position that your project needs help. What's important to us is that the energy transition makes financial sense over the long term for a sustainable future.

Our Team

Experienced professionals spanning energy consulting, complex architecture process, industrial engineering and chemistry, thermal fluid dynamics, and construction finance.
